I actually got my personal best on video. Was unsure what it was at first, but man what fight! She weighed 9.4lb just shy of that elusive double digit.

Decided to get out on the water and wasn't expecting much. The weather had been flip-flopping here in Texas, and the bite was slow. Boy...was I wrong.....

I started a new adventure in my fishing catalog that will allow me to make my own soft plastic baits. This was my first time and I learned a lot through trial and error. The heartbreaks and joys of bass fishing. She had to at least be 8lbs plus. Did manage a consolation prize catch after I retied. Note to self....always have a braid setup with you instead of leaving it hanging in the garage.
