Moms always have these visions of the perfect first-day-of-school pictures, especially when it’s your kid’s last first day. 🥹

I had worked hard on a few special things for Preston’s senior year and pictured this whole little first-day moment… but this morning had other plans. 😂 We were rushing, he didn’t even get a chance to see what I had made, and the pictures definitely didn’t happen.

Before he left, he said, “Can we just do all the first-day stuff when I get home?” ❤️

So instead, I got this video of him getting in his car and heading off for his first day of senior year.

Not everything goes as planned, and that’s okay. We roll with it. Tomorrow is another day… and you better believe this mom is still getting those senior-year pictures. 😂

This one is extra special. 💕 I’ve been working on a few sweet details for my future granddaughter, Arabella Joy, who will be here in just a couple of months! Her baby shower is next week, and this Gigi is getting VERY excited. 🥰🎀

One of my newest projects is this personalized milestone blanket tab, complete with monthly milestone pieces to capture all those sweet first-year moments.

These can be customized with baby’s name, colors, and design, making them a unique baby shower or new baby gift. 💗

And yes, Gigi may be doing a little extra for Arabella. 😂

🚪 This is your sign… to get a sign. 😉

When my friend Stacy reached out with an idea she found online, we turned it into something made just for her. We worked through different fonts, colors, and finishes until it felt just right. That’s one of my favorite parts of the process. Taking an idea and making it uniquely yours.

A quick turnaround later, and this little sign was ready for its new home!

Finished up Preston’s senior parking spot together this morning, and I love how it turned out. 💙🎨 But I think I love the memory of doing it with him even more.

He’s really happy with it, which makes this mom happy too. 🥰 Seeing Senior ’27 painted there definitely brought a few tears to my eyes. It’s hard to believe we’re already at the beginning of his senior year.

One more senior memory I’m going to hold onto a little tighter. 💙

And no, Preston isn’t mad… he just REALLY doesn’t like having his picture taken. 🤣📸
