People think running a candle company is just pouring wax and lighting a match. 😅
Nah. One week I’m sourcing materials, the next I’m chasing invoices, then it’s a pop-up, then a corporate pitch, then I’m in the lab pouring a new batch or teaching a candle-making class.
Every single week it’s something different. And every single week I keep pushing — because nobody’s coming to build this for me.
I built She Is Candles from the ground up. Birmingham’s original vegan organic candle company. And as tired as I get, I wouldn’t trade it.
Entrepreneurship is hard. But waking up to something you OWN? That’s the reward. 🕯️
