Bear hunters trying to get a surplus license, listen up! 🔊

The system is experiencing high demand that has caused a delay in normal operations. The bear surplus sale has been paused until further notice. Information about resuming the surplus sale will be shared at a later time.

In addition to posting updated information here on this social media post, we're going to provide updates on our relevant webpages and the electronic licensing system as more information becomes available. We're really sorry for the inconvenience and our staff are working diligently to get this system up and running properly. Believe it or not, turning it off and then on again didn’t work. As with any new technology, there's a learning curve and we're experiencing growing pains! Thank you for your patience.

We are going to be open this Sunday 8-12 if you would like to stop in. We are preparing for a new semi truck load of nut mix. Current barrels are sweet mix, cookie dough pellets, cookies, and fruit snacks. We also have smaller boxes of everything as well. Totes available.

👃 A black bear's sense of smell is one of the best in the animal kingdom!

They can detect food from more than a mile away under the right conditions, which is why scent and fresh bait can play such an important role.

Mother Nature gave them an incredible nose!

Every visit leaves behind human scent and creates disturbance around your bait site. If possible, use cellular cameras or limit your visits to help keep mature bears feeling comfortable.
