ConferenceDirect is excited to welcome Mallory Landon!

Meet Mallory:
Current city: Brentwood, TN

What was your first industry job? I was an intern in the in-market sales department for the Disneyland Resort, which is the formal way of saying I sold tickets, made reservations and answered (some of the wackiest) questions from a desk shaped like a Mickey Mouse head in several of the non-Disney Anaheim area hotels.

What has been your favorite position during your time in the industry? I served for a long time as the restaurant and bar manager at the Coronado Marriott, and even after several years, the view from the property was still something that would stop me in my tracks and trigger the thought "wow, I can't believe I get to work here."

What excites you most about joining ConferenceDirect? I am really enjoying the ability to actively participate in the industry that I love within schedule and travel parameters of my own design. The flexibility opens up so many doors.

What skills do you feel will make you successful with ConferenceDirect? I am so grateful to able to draw from skills I earned not only within the industry but in life. Parenting has taught me perseverance, and years spent as a military spouse cultivated an openness to new experiences and people.

Sports gave me determination and grit, and coaching youth athletes showed me that positivity and fun can contribute as much to success if not more than practice and technique. The combination has served me well thus far and I hope it continues to do so!
