Serving up sweetness in Folsom since 1985! Snooks Candies & Chocolate Factory in Historic Folsom was opened by Jim & Renee Snook. Jim learned foundational candy-making skills from his father, including chocolate tempering, brittles, and caramel, and later expanded the craft with original recipes like truffles, creams, and specialty chocolates—now over 100 varieties.

One signature tradition, peanut brittle, still follows his father’s original recipe and is now carried on by their son, Eric.

Known for old-fashioned craftsmanship and small-batch techniques, Snooks continues to create chocolate the traditional way—rich, handmade, and full of history.

The stores warmth and nostalgia is Renee’s touch. She brought the missing link… branding. She created the look and feel of the store through interior design, gift focused packaging and merchandising offerings.
