As prices have increased since I’ve first started (July 2020) I feel like I owe it to guys to explain why. The heart of this business to to bring you the same quality pieces other artist bring you at a discounted rate. I didn’t grow up with a lot of money and I hated that anything affordable had compromised quality. The majority of what I make sells for $40-$50 a pair with any other artist. Here are a few reasons my prices have increased. For starters, my quality has increased significantly. Aside from that, I rarely work with just clay anymore. Most of my pieces include other materials. This collection to be specific took multiple days to make. The white in the marble detail is actually acrylic paint. This clay was painted, dried for two days, cut, sanded, dipped in resin (resin is expensive and very time consuming) and then assembled. This is all before they were staged for photos which is a whole other task of it’s own because I am no photographer haha
Next is the website. That’s takes time too. I tell you all of this to say it takes time. I know that those who truly value my art will pay for it no matter what the dollar amount is, but I wasn’t always that person. Never would I have spent $20 on earrings, but now as an artist, I understand the hard work and time that goes into these pieces and I feel that I should explain that to you guys. I don’t expect you guys to know how much time goes into my pieces or what material they’re made of.
I’m so grateful for your support and y’all made something I never would’ve even dreamt of a reality. I’m forever grateful. 💞

Along with the marble collection next weekend I’ll be releasing these jewelry trays I shared on stories a little while back. (I use mine for soap next to the sink)

These are something fun and different. I also used materials I’ve never used before like resin and real fruit. NO CLAY. Mark your calendars. March 28th!
