Its time for our annual Superbowl potluck party. Im thinking there might be a twist to it this year with the addition of some oysters! So lets say doors open at 4pm with oysters starting around 5pm. The oysters will be free to all with a donation to Pet Helpers Folly Rd. All proceeds from these roasts goes towards Pet Helpers! We took a look at the weather and decided to postpone the Waves 4 Womens annual Chili Cookoff this Sunday at the Shipstore, Sunset Cay Marina. We have rescheduled for February 15th 1 pm. Thank you everyone for your support for the Waves 4 Women!

Big change in the weather tomorrow. Join us at the Shipstore, Sunset Cay Marina for some Football and free, thats right free hot dogs! Weve got the Pats/Broncos at 3pm and the Seabirds/Rams at 6:30 pm. As yall know, we are always accepting donations for Pet Helpers Folly Road. Join us for some NY style dirty water dogs, football and fellowship. Doors open at 2:30 and dont forget to give a little bit to our furry brethren!

Join us this Sunday, 1/11 at the Shipstore, Sunset Cay Marina, Folly Beach for some football, live music and oysters. This is a Pet Helpers event and a cash or pet food donation for the oysters picked by your two favorite people would be greatly appreciated! Doors open at 1pm for the Bills/ Jags game. The Ship Store will be open today 4-9 it’s gonna be a beautiful sunset. Come up and enjoy some holiday cheer and some adult beverages. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas!

I am filled with a sense of sadness and regret that i must inform all of you that the Shipstore at Sunset Cay will be closed tonight 12/16 due to frozen pipes. Hopefully we will be back up and running tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding in this matter. See you all soon!

The Shipstore at Sunset Cay will be hosting its annual Potluck, White Elephant Christmas party Friday, Dec. 19. Bring a dish and or a gift and come get down with us! South Carolina’s “Salute from the Shore” has become a 4th of July tradition, with beachgoers up and down the coast of the Palmetto State lining the shores to pay tribute to our active and retired military personnel on Independence Day. Each year since 2010, a number of F-16 fighter jets and vintage military planes fly down the South Carolina coast starting in the Cherry Grove Beach area near the SC/NC border and finishing in the Beaufort area near the SC/GA border. Organized by the nonprofit Salute from the Shore, folks in the state line the beaches to witness this event…decked out in their red, white and blue and waving and cheering at the aircraft personnel above.
