2016 trend giving me much needed inspo because it was the year that we were doing THE MOST with styling and photography! Do yall remember how perfectly styled our shoots were?! Small biz mom life, the dopest vintage finds and epic hauls, the basket craze, pre-cancer 🥲, and I was in my ultimate boy mom phase. Take me back to these moments PLEASE! 😭 I am so glad I captured my kids in these shoots. Always TAKE THE PICTURE! 📸🥰

I’ve only been thrifting a handful of times this year. Just haven’t been in the mood to acquire but I find myself doing it for the nostalgia of things.

We’ve been in survival mode for the last 2 years fighting cancer but right now hubby is NED (no evidence of disease) and is currently CANCER FREE!!! We can finally BREATHE and LIVE for a moment and maybe I will start posting all the again. 😭😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Life has blessed me many times over. 🥹 My maternal instinct is strong but it’s because I get it from my mamas. They’ve been the source and the blueprint. It’s a love that brews inside so deep but it’s also taught and it’s learned. Whether you have children or not, that love brews inside all of us. May we always protect and harness it. 💖 To a mother’s love… 🥂

It’s been one week since the LA fires and my heart is broken for everyone affected. I am praying for safety and relief for everyone, including our first responders who are selflessly putting themselves in harms way to keep everyone safe.

This devastation triggers my own loss so deeply. It’s been 3 years since our house fire where we lost everything. I had spent 10+ years collecting vintage and antique treasures. The only thing salvaged was this charred art piece and a couple of photo albums that the firefighters had saved for me (you guys are the true heroes!). I’ve been going back and forth about selling it, but ultimately I’m still grieving and holding on to what little we have left. Here are some takeaways from the loss that I hope helps bring you some solace.
