Our Grave Keeper Program will be placing flowers for SUMMER at the end of May and the beginning of June. If you would like to get in on the rotation, now is the time because we are reaching capacity. Let me tell you about our GRAVE KEEPER PROGRAM!

If you want to put flowers at the cemetery, but there is an obstacle keeping you from it, we can help. We offer a yearly service that includes providing FOUR arrangements per year. The arrangements are for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. We deliver directly to the cemetery and place them at the grave site. A photo is taken of the new arrangement, and we send the photo to your cell phone. This is a yearly program. How to get signed up is easy. We encourage you to call us or message us at 769.234.8739 if you want to participate in the program. Commenting on the post can sometimes get lost. The information needed is:

*The type of arrangement (vase arrangement or saddle) you wish to purchase.
*The name/names on the headstone.
*The name and location of the cemetery.
*Your name
*Your cell phone number
*Your form of payment (we accept all credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, checks and cash). You will prepay for the year.

The selections available are as follows:
Cemetery Vase Arrangements are $30 each. You will be required to pay $120 for the year. (with tax it is $128.40)
Headstone Saddle Arrangements are $55 each. You will be required to pay $220 for the year. (with tax it is $235.40)

The delivery part is free. The cemeteries that we currently service are listed below. If your cemetery is not listed, call us and we will see if we can begin to service your cemetery choice. This program has grown, and we’ve heard so many say this is the best way to purchase cemetery flowers. As usual, we work hard to keep our prices low so that everyone can afford to shop with us.

Summertime is slow season for most florists. Whenever the kids are out of school, the demand for flowers decreases. I usually throw away more flowers in the months of June and July than at any other time.

This summer, I want to try something different. We are going to be closed every Monday during the months of June and July. This isnt set in stone, we will be flexible. Should a funeral arise, we will continue to be available whenever you need us.

So what will we be doing on these 3 day weekends? Working!! 🤣 We have wood flooring to put down in the studio and will be painting the rest of the concrete. To do this, we have to move everything out and move everything back afterwards. Suzanne and I agree we want to deep clean our houses. That's something we haven't had the time to do. Lastly, we want to spend some quality time with our families.

We will have the Summer Grave Keeper arrangements out the last of May and first ofJune. If you are scheduled for renewal, please reach out to us and we will get you renewed.

Going out to deliver to the memorial site, I kept missing the turn....growing frustrated because the bud vases kept falling over. Once we pulled up to the site, there was such a peace. Amanda's ex-husband and his wife were there working so hard to make things perfect. It was a relaxed setting with lush green plants scattered around. There was even a bounce house for the kids.

They said Amanda's daughters wanted a way to celebrate them with a tribute that was the way they lived their lives......happy, lively, family oriented, loving, and unique. I think they nailed it.

Please pray for the family and friends of this lovely couple.

Mark Smith, a friend from Picayune, reached out to me a few months ago with a request that resonated deeply. As someone who views life's challenges as opportunities, Mark's perspective is inspiring. His photography is a testament to his attention to detail, capturing moments and scenes that often go unnoticed. Alongside his wife, Rhonda, Mark has explored numerous exciting destinations, embodying their shared spirit of adventure.

The purpose of Mark's call was soon clear - he and a group of volunteers were restoring a memorial in the Florida Everglades. This memorial, erected 30 years ago to honor the 105 passengers and 5 crew members of ValuJet Flight 592, had deteriorated over time. Mark's profession as an airplane mechanic for Delta perhaps deepened his connection to this cause, and upon seeing the memorial's condition, he gathered a team to restore it to honor those who perished in the crash that occurred mere minutes after takeoff.

Over the years, I have done flowers for the rich and famous, I've traveled hundreds of miles to do weddings, I've made trbutes for the very old and sadly, for the very young. Mark's request for a memorial wreath to place at a memorial honoring those lost in a place crash in the Everglades was a first. I am so deeply honored to have been asked.
