These pics are from just this week, on a mower that was running fine but was due for an annual service. Well imagine how much better it runs now, and how much longer the owner's investment will last after it was serviced! Now, it can breathe clean air (new air filter and prefilter), have more efficient ignition (new, properly gapped plugs), and cut quickly and safely (new, sharpened *and balanced* blades and all debris cleaned from the underside and on top of the deck)! Don't YOU feel better knowing this mower is feeling better?!?!

Thankful...we are so very thankful for every single one of our customers. We received this feedback this week, and they said we could pass it on to all of our FB friends. (When it proved too expensive to fix the self propel unit on his mower, he opted to have us turn it into a push mower instead.) "Hello, Don. It has been a few weeks since you dropped off my used Toro mower, the one that was self propelled but now is simply a push mower. Thank you for removing the gearbox. That has made it easier to push around. I also wanted to say thank you for doing such a good job sharpening the blade. The mower makes a very uniform cut now and the grass looks better than I ever recall seeing it."

And now for another PSA from your local mower repair shop! The grass took off like crazy this year!! While trying to keep up with your yard, it can be easy to forget where the bricks, stumps, rocks, and other hard surfaces are hidden. We have had 8 calls this week alone from homeowners who have hit these types of items, causing damage to their blade, engine, deck, and/or other parts of their mower. While we are happy to help you if this happens, this is a quick reminder to take a quick walk through your yard before trying to mow the crazy-tall grass. Stay tuned for next week's PSA...for you lawn tractor folks!

Happy Easter!!! Another note for those of you using a brand new mower this year. It is generally recommended that your first oil change be performed after the first 5-8 hours of running. This is to remove any minute metal fragments that might have come loose during the engine's break in process.
