It’s the first day of school! (For kiddos).. which means I’ve been at my “big girl job” all week.

And honestly, this is a vulnerable post. I’ve always strived to make FP a place where everyone can come as they are. So, I’m asking for a little of that back as well.

This is hard. It is my first year heading into school time as a parent, a full time employee, and the owner of a brick & mortar bookshop.

I am tired, I am stressed, I’m sure I’ve missed 200 texts.. but I promise I am trying.

I hope to see you Saturday when the store is filled with these new goodies & spicy romances!

These products have become my lifeline as a business owner, full time school nurse, and parent of busy kids.. add in my ADHD diagnosis and sometimes I feel like my day is a train coming full steam ahead and I’m just waiting for it to hit me.

1. Daily planner:
I make one of these every single day. The perfect place to write our schedules, my to-do list.. and just maybe some little notes about small things that need to get finished.

2. My reading journal:
This has become such a fun hobby for me and has helped me remember the books I’m reading (see ADHD) and also a nice way to unwind and take some time for myself
