The Mazza Museum mourns the loss of Dolly Parton, the creative powerhouse and artistic icon who made our world a better place. An advocate for literacy, her Imagination Library has provided more than 20 million free books to Ohio children. We are proud to honor Dolly's legacy, and encourage you to sign your children up or donate to the program here:

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio is reaching children in all 88 counties, thanks to a network of early childhood literacy partners and generous support from the Ohio General Assembly, corporations, foundations, and individual donors.

It was a gorgeous day on campus this week for the annual Student Organization Fair! Mazza staff loved getting to connect with all of the amazing student clubs and organizations. We look forward to collaborating with them for volunteer opportunities, tours, educational events, and more.

The first week back is always an exciting one, and we have been busy connecting with students on campus! The Mazza Museum took part in the Intro to Oiler Nation - One-Stop-Shop, and the Student Employee Job Fair.

Thank you to everyone that attended The Enchanted Brush reception, especially four of this year's featured artists! The exhibit can only be seen through 5:00 pm on August 14. The Mazza Museum is open Wednesday - Friday from Noon to 5:00 pm.

Tonight, August 11, is the Enchanted Brush reception in the Lea Gallery from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Come meet some of the artists featured in this year's Enchanted Brush exhibit—Kelley Hensing, Jason Mowry, Melissa Sue Stanley, and Dan Chudzinski.

We enjoyed our time at Sauder Village this week for their special Art of the Picture Book event. Visitors could do an apple print with paint or leaf rubbings—best overheard quote, "This is so magic!" as the leaf appeared on the paper. Saturday our gift shop assisted award winning author, illustrator, and paper engineer Merrill Rainey with book sales for his workshop and meet and greet.
