Flint Griffith (aka Les Griffith ) of Ferrisburgh Vermont. I started turning bowls about a year and a half ago. I took a course taught by Nick Rosato, a very talented artisan in wood, now operating out of Johnson, VT. His business is called - I believe - The Sculpted Tree. This is very much a labor of love, as I have always been attracted to the innate beauty of wood. The ability to unlock the pot

ential from an otherwise bland piece of firewood is fascinating to me. As my collection of finished pieces has grown, it became apparent - at least to my wife Melissa - that perhaps the herd needed to be thinned. As a result, I have ventured into the arena of selling my work. I anticipate continuing in this work for the foreseeable future, and look forward to being able to supply prospective customers with a piece of art, or a functional bowl, which they can enjoy using and looking at for years to come.
