It is a certainty that fish bite during rain events. Especially slightly after it stops. In saltwater it takes them a bit to acclimate to the fresh rainfall, but guess what? Here at the Lazy Springs Recreation Park, its all freshwater. So get out here on this cool overcast day and bag some bass baby!!


Stop in and grab some Hoodoo accoutrements and a cup of coffee with me at Shifting Sands Outfitters too.

Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL DAY at Lazy Springs Recreation Park!! Got our fish on with some 9.5 Hoodoo Elements from Shifting Sands Outfitters in Lake 6, and the bass were hitting!! Long cast, throw the pole in a rod holder with a nice, easy paddle, let the DOA do the rest!! BOOM! Alexa is an old fresh water expert from the Great Lakes, and had a BLAST learning new skills on a fishing kayak.
