Murchison Road Community Farmers Market Since the closing of the Murchison Rd Community Farmers Market, we stayed on to promote happenings in the Fayetteville State Univ community

The Murchison Road Community Farmers Market, a program of the Fayetteville State University Development Corporation (FSUDC), strives to be a guiding force in shaping the environmental, social, and financial health of the Murchison Road Community by bringing the highest quality local growers and food artisans together in the Murchison Community. The farmers market contributes to the sustainability

and success of Fayetteville by serving as a community gathering place, a vehicle for a regional economy, and a center for fresh, local food.

Cumberland County, in partnership with the City of Fayetteville, NC Government and community partners, will open cooling centers Thursday, June 18, in response to forecasted heat index values reaching 105°F.

Residents without access to air conditioning are encouraged to visit a cooling center during normal business hours to stay cool and safe. Remember to drink plenty of water, limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours and check on older adults, young children, neighbors and pets.

Greater Life Of Fayetteville invites GLOF Board Members, Volunteers, and Supporters, and your youth to attend our Crime Prevention Dining IN Series #2, June 27 at 11 a.m. at the Country Club Drive Outreach Center

If you did not attend Series #1... not a problem. Series #2 will include separate open discussions amongst Adults and Youth about preventative and safety measures that promote safer neighborhoods, homes, and schools against gun violence. We encourage each of you and your youth to jot down your thoughts and input on the journal topics listed below and bring them to the workshop.
