We've been pretty quiet here this summer and there's a reason for that...because we've been BREWIN' something behind the scenes.

This was 100% not on my radar when we decided to build. I won't lie, it's been a stressful year. But I look back now and see that maybe some things were not supposed to work out, so that this could happen.

My heart has been with JoDee and her family with the sudden passing of Jeff. My family knows all too well the pain that comes with a loss like this. But I see woven in the threads some divine intervention that made it all work: a beautiful new building big enough to house a coffee shop, plumbing and electrical work that was already in the right places, a random conversation that started this whole thing, and decisions made before life took a drastic turn.

My opening will depend on the rate of progress on the interior. Zach and local contractors/businesses have been working tirelessly this summer and what is done so far is looking great!!

What you can expect when I do open is:
☕️ Fantastic coffee drinks (I will be bringing buttercup's favorites over)
🚗 Drink deliveries (with a minimum order)
🍵 Healthier drink options
💐 Beautiful fresh flowers
🪴 Houseplants
🎈 Balloons (I will be bringing favorites from The Shops)
🍞 Tastefully Simple on hand
🎁 Sympathy and other gift options that pair well with flowers

In order for this door to open though, one door needs to close. And unfortunately that is Pressed Flower Frames. I love creating these keepsakes, but my 24 hours looks very different than it did 4 years ago when I started. They take an enormous amount of time and my evenings are no longer open and at home. I have been working on finishing my current frames this summer and with the exception of new orders from these past couple weeks, all frames will be done by the end of September.

I am excited for a cozy and beautiful space for you all to come gather and sip on delicious drinks while enjoying beautiful flowers and plants. ❤️

I was frequently asked "Can you add a little something to the bouquet?" when customers would call in for floral arrangements to be delivered.

I have several ideas in mind but would like to hear from all of you!

What would you like to see available as an "add-on" to floral arrangements? Whether you are looking to gift flowers for a birthday, anniversary, sympathy, congratulations or just because, I would like to have items available to add to your order.

*If possible, I would also like to create an option where local businesses in town can collaborate with me. For example...you want to send a floral bouquet to your grandma for her birthday and she is also a big quilter. So maybe we can get a gift card from Quilters Corner and combine it into one gift.

Give me all your ideas below in the comments!

Time for an update! Greenhouse season recap, building progress, cut flower status, etc...

06/10/2026

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY AT THE GREENHOUSE!

*Please DO NOT drive on the new gravel that was spread. It is very soft and will get tore up. Just drive on the grass.

After today I will post remaining items here on facebook. I'll be happy to find a time to meet up. I still have inventory that I will be taking care of even after the season is done so I'll be over here regularly to water.

06/08/2026

Greenhouse is open:
-Today 6/8 until 5
-WILL be CLOSED Tuesday 6/9
-Open Wednesday 6/10 10-4

06/05/2026

Slight changes the schedule for the next few days at the greenhouse:

Saturday, June 6th 10-2
Sunday, June 7th - Closed
Monday, June 8th 10-5
Tuesday, June 9th *tentative* 12-5
Wednesday 10-4

I am definitely winding down on inventory but still have a lot of:
- veggies (mostly tomatoes, squash, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower)
- perennials
- and still a nice assortment of annual flowers.

I'll see where I sit after Wednesday and will decide any additional hours after that. It's possible Wednesday will be my last day of the season.
