TODAY IS THE LAST DAY AT THE GREENHOUSE!

*Please DO NOT drive on the new gravel that was spread. It is very soft and will get tore up. Just drive on the grass.

After today I will post remaining items here on facebook. I'll be happy to find a time to meet up. I still have inventory that I will be taking care of even after the season is done so I'll be over here regularly to water.

Slight changes the schedule for the next few days at the greenhouse:

Saturday, June 6th 10-2
Sunday, June 7th - Closed
Monday, June 8th 10-5
Tuesday, June 9th *tentative* 12-5
Wednesday 10-4

I am definitely winding down on inventory but still have a lot of:
- veggies (mostly tomatoes, squash, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower)
- perennials
- and still a nice assortment of annual flowers.

I'll see where I sit after Wednesday and will decide any additional hours after that. It's possible Wednesday will be my last day of the season.

Next perennial - Old Fashioned Bleeding Heart

This week I will be going through some perennials I have remaining.

The first one to list is the "Dream Cloud Lilac"

This dense-growing Manchurian lilac is destined for the clouds! A different color than the species, in early summer you’ll find Dream Cloud™ covered in fluffy panicles of pink flowers – so much so that there’s hardly a trace of the leaves to be seen. A spectacular sight to see, these blooms measure 12” long x 9” wide! As summer wanes, cooler nights produce a rich, purple, fall color – yet another nuance that adds one more season of interest. I will see where I sit with inventory by the end of this week and will figure out my hours for next week then.

Greenhouse hours for today through this weekend:

Sunday, May 31st 12-3

Hours next week will mostly be the same as usual...10-6!

I might need to close early for some ball games....will post those details later.
