Tyrants gonna tyrant…

In the wake of a mass shooting in another country, who has different laws, Trudeau is using the tragedy as rationale for needing to tighten Canada’s gun laws. He is proposing a national ban on all new handgun purchases, buyback off “assault style weapons”, and limiting rifle magazines to no more than 5 rounds.

Don’t forget, this is the same Trudeau that cracked down on peaceful truckers who were protesting his tyrannical COVID protocols by declaring their speech unlawful, calling them terrorists, imprisonment and seizing their personal property and finances.

It’s not about public safety. It’s about using public shock and outrage to further the agenda and seize/maintain control.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says there is no reason anyone needs a gun other than for sports or hunting.

How many times will the president continue to make the false claim that cannons were prohibited when the bill of rights were ratified? Cannon ownership was and is still legal.

This latest tirade against 9mm handguns is just another example of his blinding ignorance on the subject and why we should demand better from our legislators. Their title gives them an air of expertise, but all to often they are completely clueless about the subjects they wish to regulate.

Biden ranted against ownership of what he called “high-caliber weapons” while appearing to rule out the possibility of taking major executive action on guns.

Hit the road, Jack!

With the broad power Congress has abdicated to the ATF, and their arbitrary changing/reinterpretation of the rules, one less political activist in the running for head of the ATF is a good thing.

This fight isn’t over, as Biden has promised to take executive action through the ATF to ban guns where Congress has failed.

David Chipman works for a gun control group led by former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Withdrawal of his nomination is the latest sign of the turbulence of gun politics and the difficulty of finding a head for the agency.

Trump may not be the staunch defender of the 2nd amendment we hoped, but no matter which democrat gets the nomination for next year’s election, consider the alternative. They all support some form of national registration and federal licensing in order to exercise a constitutionally protected right. They all support an “assault weapons” ban with the most aggressive essentially making all semi-automatic rifles illegal. Most support confiscation through “mandatory buy back” programs...

Here are the Democratic presidential candidates who have put out gun policy reform proposals, have significant positions or experience that set them apart.

Gotta love a company that stands by their product:

So... About a month ago I noticed that one of the internal baffles in my SilencerCo Osprey was damaged. I emailed the customer service group who sent out an immediate RMA number and asked me to ship it in. After a couple of weeks I was going to call to make sure they got it, but instead I saw an email in my inbox from FedEx saying that I had a package inbound. It arrived, baffles, end cap, and piston housing replaced. No fuss, just quickly quietly fixed it and got my can back to me.

C**t will cease production of AR-15s for the civilian market. When I initially heard the reporting it sounded like they made the decision based on political pressure. Not so fast. They made the decision based on market conditions. They still make a good business selling the M4 to the military and have decent police contracts for AR-15s. However, the civilian market has moved on to other brands. I have not once recommended a C**t AR-15 to a customer. I’ve had some requested by name, but if you want a high quality modern sporting rifle, there are better options. If you’re on a budget, there are better options. If you want modern features, there are better options. C**t has simply lost the ball on civilian AR type rifles and the business does not support them selling rifles at C**t prices any longer.

The gun-maker said the decision is purely market-driven and made no mention of any public pressure over the AR-15's use in several mass shootings.

July 9th Governor Northam will convene a special session in VA to consider gun control legislation in response to the recent shooting in Virginia Beach. Proposals include banning suppressors, “assault weapons”, and “high capacity” magazines as well as requiring universal background checks.

Virginian’s vote in primary elections on June 11th. Get out and protect your rights!

This is critical to protecting our 2A rights. Being willing to speak out against anti-gun propaganda is one side, but raising the next generation of gun owners is the other.

The battle for the 2nd Amendment is a cultural battle. Yes, the political battle is immensely important, but politics is downstream of culture.

Anti-Gunners know this which is why they do seemingly innocuous things like getting rid gun emojis.

It’s about conditioning the younger generation to see no value in fi****ms and consequently not seeing value in the 2nd Amendment.

It’s a small part of a greater whole, which is why creating new gun owners should be the most important thing we do as current gun owners.

Sometimes as a community we can be hyper judgmental and overly pedantic about certain gun things that drive potential gun owners away.

Lets not lose the forest for the trees and continue to create new gun owners, because new gun owners, create newer gun owners and effectively change the culture for the good.
