A customer recently brought in their Kubota tractor because it would bog down and shut off while running. After taking a look, we found the issue… this severely clogged air filter!

When your air filter gets packed with dirt, grass, and debris like this, your engine can’t get the airflow it needs to run properly. That can lead to:

Loss of power, poor fuel efficiency, hard starting, excessive smoke, & engine damage over time

To keep your Kubota running at its best, inspect and clean the air filter regularly — especially during mowing and dusty conditions — and replace it according to your operator’s manual or anytime it becomes excessively dirty or damaged.
