💔 An End of an Era: Saying Goodbye After 25 Years 💔
To our wonderful communities in Farmington, Waterville, and beyond,
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share some bittersweet news. As many of you may already know, T-Mobile has purchased US Cellular and has made the decision to close all US Cellular agent stores. Because of this, after 25 beautiful, unforgettable years, Pine Tree Cellular in Farmington and Waterville have officially closed their doors.
A quarter of a century is a long time, and we truly don't even know where to begin to thank you—our customers. Thank you for allowing us into your lives and trusting us to serve you for the last 25 years.
Together, we didn’t just talk about minutes and data; we watched families grow. We fondly remember handing your young kids their very first cell phones (oh, those early texting bills! 😅). Then, we watched those same kids grow up, get plans of their own, get married, and bring their children in. You didn't just build a business; you built a family.
🗺️ Our Journey Together
Pine Tree Cellular grew right alongside you.
• Farmington: We started in a tiny office behind Webber Insurance, moved to a larger space on Broadway, and finally found our permanent home on Main Street.
• Waterville: We also started as a tiny office next to Webber Insurance before eventually tripling in size and taking over the entire space.
Because of your incredible support, we were eventually able to expand into Biddeford, Topsham, Brunswick, Windham, and South Portland. Through every single expansion, our goal remained exactly the same: to go above and beyond and provide the absolute best customer service possible. While we may have occasionally fallen short, we always, always strove to do right by you.

To our employees, both past and present: Thank you. Without your hard work, dedication, and smiling faces, none of this would have ever been possible. You were the heartbeat of Pine Tree Cellular.
And to our customers, thank you again for your unwavering loyalty. It has been our absolute pleasure and privilege to serve you and grow with you.
🗓️ What Happens Next?
While our last official day as US Cellular/T-Mobile agents was Sunday, June 14th, this isn't a total goodbye just yet.
While the Farmington location will be fully closed, the Waterville location will be open, in a limited fashion.
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays.
• Services Still Available: Accessories, pre-owned phones, and paid tech services. Please note again that we are no longer affiliated with US Cellular or T-Mobile, we are simply Pine Tree Cellular and if you need accessories, a Pre-owned phone or some tech assistance we can assist you for a small price. Feel free to call the Waterville office to inquire further.
Thank you, Maine, for 25 years of memories, laughter, and connections. We will miss you more than words can say. 🌲📱❤️
