Maybe you know us for wood stoves & heating, maybe it’s bikes, skis, outdoor apparel, grills, racks & roof boxes… or maybe you’ve been coming through our doors for years and know us for a little bit of everything.

MEET THE OWNERS — JOSH & ALICIA BELL

When you shop at Northern Lights, you’re supporting more than a local business — you’re supporting a local family.

Josh & Alicia Bell became the owners of Northern Lights in 2021, carrying on a Maine business that has been serving our communities since 1974.

For them, Northern Lights has always been about more than what’s on the showroom floor. It’s about helping neighbors heat their homes, getting families outside on bikes and skis, and being a business people know they can count on.

As parents of three boys themselves, Josh & Alicia know just how special it is to live, work and raise a family here in Maine. They’re incredibly grateful for every person who walks through the doors, recommends Northern Lights to a friend, shares a post, or simply chooses to shop local.
