The other day at City Hall, I overheard a tour guide telling a group of students that Farmington was once nicknamed the “City of Roses”.

That story stayed with me as I walked through our fields this morning, checking for the first emerging dahlia shoots. While our focus is the dahlia, that legacy of cultivation and beauty in our local soil is something I feel deeply connected to.

In that spirit of bringing beauty to our community, we have a few exciting updates:

✨ The Return of the Subscription: After several years, our bouquet subscriptions are officially back. These are luxury, wedding-grade blooms harvested at their absolute peak for your home.

🛠️ Foundation of the Bloom: Every subscription includes a professional design kit with the same tools we use for arrangements at the farm. Reserve online and pick yours up at the store today!

🌱 Tuber Shop is Open: Our online shop has closed, but we’ve moved a selection of professional-grade tubers to the +7 Farm Store for in-person shopping.

Come grab the varieties you need to start your own dahlia tradition.

📍 Visit us at the +7 Farm Store: 29 S 200 E, Farmington. We’re stocked with local grass-fed beef, eggs, and handcrafted tallow.

If you’ve been dreaming of a garden that feels more like a sanctuary and less like a project, this is the one I put together for you. I call it the Timeless Collection.

I wanted to curate a group that blends effortlessly—creamy blushes, crisp whites, and those glowing peaches that look like magic at sunset. It’s designed to be sophisticated but, more importantly, it’s designed to be reliable.

Here’s what’s inside the set:
👑 Cafe au Lait – The romantic queen (you can’t have a garden without her).
❄️ Ice Baby – My favorite crisp white workhorse.
🍂 Nicholas – A soft, “autumn-meets-peach” orange. 🍑 Lark’s Ebbe – A glowing peach-pink that absolutely shines in the golden hour.

These are limited, so if you’re looking for a “one-click” way to start your garden or just want a palette that’s already been color-matched, this is it.

🗓 Mark your calendars: The shop opens April 1st

I’ve updated the link in my bio so you can preview the full collection. Make sure you’re on the email list—the go-live time will be sent to email subscribers on March 26th

If you love having fresh flowers in your house, you know the feeling of a bloom that wilts before you’ve even had a chance to enjoy it.

That’s exactly why I put together the Vase Life Vanguard Collection. These aren’t just the “pretty faces” of the farm; they are the reliable anchors of the garden. I chose these four specifically for their sturdy stems, high bloom counts, and—most importantly—the way they stay fresh in a vase for days.

The palette is a warm, sunset mix of peach, rusty pink, and glowing bronze. Here is what makes up this year’s collection:

✨ Linda’s Baby: There’s a reason this is a farm favorite. It’s that perfect “”symmetrical”” pinky-peach that everyone seems to gravitate toward.
✨ Peaches: A charming ball dahlia that is one of the first to bloom on the farm and literally refuses to quit until the first frost.
✨ Jomanda: A stunning rusty pink. I love this one because it’s the perfect “bridge” color as the garden moves from summer brights into those deeper autumn tones.
✨ Cornel Bronze: The ultimate workhorse. If you want a dahlia with exceptional vase life and impeccable shape, this is it.

I’ve spent the last few seasons watching these perform in our Utah soil, and they truly are the varieties I rely on most for bouquets that actually last.

You can see the full breakdown of these four on the website now. They’ll be available as a set in our April 1st sale!
