Happy Halloween! Last night Drew Calahan went live revealing the winners of our Hallow-Evee-Ween Contest 2026 Voting (Voting Period 10-1-2026 through 10-30-2026) . Please see our previous post and video for the results!

Prizes and artwork are available for pickup in the shop, when we are open. We will be closing early today, after the festivities of the mini tournaments we are offerring in our The Pack Rack's Graveyard Smash SPOOKTACULAR! concludes!

4 tournaments that all start at 10 am, with a hopeful end time of 2pm. Each require a minimum of 4 paid participants to trigger prizing. Each is capped at a max of 8 players. BUT, if we have fewer than 8 for one option and more than 8 for another, we may accommodate.

Everyone walks away with at least something. You get a pack per LOSS. (Based on TCG you are participating in. Packs chosen by staff).

All 2nd place finishers will get their choice of a playmat, of the options shown here. First choice goes to tournament that finishes first. In the event of a "tie", a simple roll off will occur.

All 1st place finishers placed into a secondary random drawing for the following gift cards:

1st draw: $100
2nd draw: $75
3rd draw: $50
4th draw: $25

These will be scaled down a level if a tournament does not occur due to lack of players.

In addition to those: top finishers get this (also showing entry fee for each)

: $25 entry: winner: 30th Anniversary ETB!

: $35 entry: winner: Origins booster box!

: $35 entry: winner: 1 pack of every option we currently have available, including Paramount War!

: $35 entry: winner play booster box of choice from Reality Fracture, The Hobbit or Lowryn Eclipsed

Please try to arrive by 9:30am today. Events plan to start at 10am. Anyone later than 10:15, we might not be able to allow to participate unless there are players waiting.

Should there be an odd # of a game, player with a birthday closest to today will get the first round bye.

Happy Thursday! Reminder that tomorrow is the Trunk or Treat indoor event for The Factory in Farmington.

The Pack Rack will have lots of goodie bags loaded with candy, cards and crafts for the first 150 kiddos to show up. (4pm-6pm)

Saturday is our The Pack Rack's Graveyard Smash SPOOKTACULAR!

4 mini tournaments that all start at 10 am, with an expected hopeful endtime of 2pm, so that all can move on and enjoy other festivities! These are all scheduled with an event to their respective game reporting sites. (Pokemon is a special "open play" as this is an unsactioned specialized extended tournament being offerred exclusively by the shop).

Breakdown for each is as follows:

$25 entry fee. Top finisher wins a 30th anniversary ETB! This will be extended/expanded format.

$35 entry fee. Top finisher wins an Origins booster box!

$35 entry fee. Top finisher wins 1 booster pack of all we currently have available including Paramount War!

$35 entry fee. Top finisher gets choice of booster box of those available (excludes LOTR set booster)

Top finishers from each placed into a random drawings for the following additional gift card payouts:
1st draw: $100
2nd draw: $75
3rd draw: $50
4th: draw: $25

ALL second place finishers will get a placemat out of those shown here. (Order will be determined by game time finish. First tournament that fihishes gets first choice. If games finish at the same time, a roll off will occur.)

Just added: All players get a pack per LOSS! (Relative to their chosen game--packs given at shop staff choice) So even if you loose, you still get something!

ALL games require at least 4 paid particpants to trigger prizing. ALL games are capped at a max of 8 players.

Please arrive by 9:30 if possible to ensure we get proper entries paid and placement of players.

Please do not arrive past 10:15am to participate.

We will also reveal the winners of our Hallow-Evee-Ween Contest 2026 Voting (Voting Period 10-1-2026 through 10-30-2026) Prior to the tournament kickoffs!

We start November off strong with a few events:
Star Trek Magic Pre-release $35. Limited to 15 seats. We are offering 3 chances to participate. Friday November 6th 5:30pm-8pm (players will need to likely exit upstairs--FYI), Saturday November 7th 2pm-6pm, or Sunday November 8th, 1pm-5pm.

We are also offering our first Pirates Party event Saturday November 7th . Prizing support is available!

For our Bandai fans, we do have ongoing Weekly Bandai Play (One Piece & Gundam TCG) and we do have some limited prize support for it. (Our playstore status approval occurred in between set releases-- so there is a slight lag in us getting more ample product, but we are providing what we can for now)

If you search our shop "The Pack Rack" on Bandai TCG+ for event organizers you can see which events we have planned out and lined up for you!

November 14th we host our first The Mane Event: A Special My Little Pony Fandom Celebration. Costumes encouraged! Come play the game, or bring to brag or trade your own collections! Shop staff will award my little pony merch to best costumes and/or most engauged participants!

November's Pokemon League challenge will potentially be 11-21-2026 . We will have an ETB available as the top prize. Entry fee will be $10

Riftbound Radiance Summoner Skirmish 1 happens November 14th as well @ 2pm. Entry fee for that one is $15. Top 8 cut. Top finisher gets a champion promo and playmat!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!📢

Sooo, this announcement has been lurking on the horizon for a while now.

Rogues Rest has always been a passion project of sorts. I wanted to bring my passion for TTRPGs to the Festus area and beyond. In short I wanted to make products available locally so people in the hobby or new to it wouldn’t have to go so far to get the items they need as well as provide a safe comfortable place where said games could be played.

That said at the end of the month we will be closing the store. As with any small business this was always a possibility, and I knew that going in. It was a risk and one I would take again in a heartbeat!

However I can’t continue to come out of pocket to keep the doors open. This business while amazing for many, many reasons has also been financially disastrous.

That said I owe a huge shoutout to all the amazing customers and friends I have made during this adventure! Also a massive thank you to my landlord for being patient and generous through this process. To all the other local businesses who have reached out and offered advice and friendship I thank you! This process would have been much more daunting without each of you!

On a side note that may benefit you the customers, I will be liquidating all of the store’s inventory at 25% off! That’s a pretty large savings and just in time for the holidays! Get those gift items while you can for less! Obviously supplies are limited to the stock I have on hand. Remember we have boardgames too!

Anyone who has donated terrain or minis for use at our tables that would like to have those items back can of course pick them up before we close the doors at the end of October.

Any local game or hobby store interested in acquiring either our game tables or inventory is welcome to make an offer for consideration. All will be welcome and taken under serious consideration!

I feel like I’ve been rambling so to sum it all up our last day open to the public will be October 30th, and as I said earlier in this post, THANK YOU ALL! Without each of you none of this adventure would have been possible!

I will also be keeping the Discord and this page up as a sort of community page. Who knows maybe Rogues Rest will rise again in the future, never say never!

Happy Saturday! Reminder that our Pokemon Delta Reign Prerelease happens today at 2pm!

We now have prize support for Weekly Bandai Play (One Piece & Gundam TCG)

Radiance products now in stock. There's been a delay on the Vault box, should arrive hopefully next week. We've increased the pack limit on ALL Riftbound packs from 4 per person per day, to 6. VERY limited # of booster boxes available, limit 1 per person per day.

Also have gotten in fresh offerings of deck sleeves and for the first time, playmats!

New My Little Pony offerrings. For our sports fan, though we have scaled back on sports, we do get occasional options. METAL basketball blasters and 2026 Score a Treat Bundles are available.

Please stop in and vote for our Hallow-Evee-Ween Contest 2026 Voting (Voting Period 10-1-2026 through 10-30-2026) to help us decide the winners of our art contest! The winners for the art contest will also be announced before the Graveyard smash festivities start.

Happy Thursday Spinsters! This weekend we have 2 great opportunities for ! Friday from 5:30pm-8pm is Pokemon October Gym Class Challenge: FREE! Followed up by Pokemon Delta Reign Prerelease Saturday 2pm-6pm.

We will also reveal final points standings for our in-house league point earners. This will be the final time we are doing this, as since we now have access to Gym Class challenges, and hopefully soon Cup challenges, we plan to offer premium prize support as much as possible for those. (Exceptions will occur such as this weekend, if we need to schedule back to back events because of a pre-release.

We do have prize support available for in house Weekly Bandai Play (One Piece & Gundam TCG) But this requires active player participation. We do not currently have much stock for purchase with most of the newer Bandai TCGs, but should change in the near future with enough active player participation.

Radiance products should be available this weekend as well. There is a shipping delay on a few of the products. The 2 player starters and play boosters will be available.
