Oatmeal apple crisp is on the bakery menu at The Cabin today, and for the farm stand we have winter squash including acorn, buttercup, and butternut, and Honeycrisp apples from Boothby's Orchard and Farm.
The Cabin Bakery is open only on Sundays for the remainder of the season. Please do free to message anytime for special orders, which can be picked up any day of the week.
We'll open up today by 11am - look for the flags! And thank you!!

We are going to have DELICATA and BUTTERCUP squash as well as PIE PUMPKINS at the farm stand this weekend! We'll be open on Saturday and Sunday as usual unless we have a downpour of rain, and I'm baking up some blueberry and strawberry pies and pastries, too. Come get yours!
And for our farm share members, please come shop your shares before the summer bounty is gone! This will truly likely be the last weekend for sweet corn, but we'll have that, too, while supplies last.

Farm-fresh apple muffins, banana breads, lemon & meringue cream puff pastries, and wild Maine blueberry pie bars will be on the menu tomorrow. We open at 11am - come get some first of the season apples from Boothby's, or a haul of canning tomatoes from our cousins at the Cummings farm stand, or some LOCAL Pike's sweet corn (last couple of weekends to get it), pickling cukes (also going by fast), carrots, our own green beans, some of the last summer squash, as well as jams, jellies, pickles, vinegars, herbs, flowers, and much more. Squash and pumpkins are coming on fast now, we'll have fall veggies in the next few weeks.
Oh, and the new batch of comfrey salve with multiple healing herbs and skin-soothing oils is really "the balm" too.
Finally, the bones of the new Gothic arch greenhouse are up! I think it's the best finish he's done on a kit so far - all burned and brushed by hand before the final oaky stain was applied. Stop by and see, or if you're a neighbor, comment what you think below!
