RLTB staffer Helen will lead this month’s conversation, focused on Susanna Clarke’s “Piranesi,” and store copies of the novel will be 20 % off until then!

Clarke’s beloved 2021 fantasy novel focuses on the title character, who lives in a huge, labyrinthine house that contains an ocean on the lower levels and thousands of statues. A man Piranesi calls The Other visits twice a week and asks for help with research into a Great and Secret Knowledge, but as Piranesi continues to explore his world, a truth begins to unravel, revealing a world beyond the one he’s always known.

This is one of my all-time fave summer reads. What’s yours?
