Widman's candy dates back to 1885. William Widman, a baker and candy maker, opened the first store in Dubuque, Iowa. In 1911, George I and Clara Widman opened Widman's Candy in Crookston, MN. In 1949, George II and Betty Widman opened Widman's Candy in Grand Forks, ND. has been in business since 1990 by Carol Widman Kennedy and David Kennedy. The existing stores are located in Fargo, ND (owned and

operated by Carol Widman Kennedy and David Kennedy), Grand Forks, ND (owned by George II and Betty Widman and operated by Daniel Widman), and Crookston, ND (owned and operated by George III and Lois Widman). is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
