In honor of black History month, I am thinking of David Driskell and my book on his life in Maine. He once said"When I come to Maine, time stops." A nationally known artist he lived in Maine 57 summers and will be having a one man exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta,Georgia, the Phillips Collection, Washington D.C. and the Portland Museum of Art this June 2021.
