1960 345 in from for a conversion from stereo to mono. The circuit was already not completely original and had issues so if we gotta get in there to fix it we might as well convert it to a more useable mono circuit. I was able to keep most of the original parts and make it look like Gibson did it.

Attention! Now added to the line up. A matching 2x12 to go along with the Susquehanna! It features a removable panel to change from open to closed back.

The Susquehanna features a pair of EL34s and three 12AX7s, delivering 45 watts of dynamic, responsive power. It includes a very usable and controllable power control, along with separate master and gain controls. These allow you to dial in everything from rich, clean tones to harmonically complex, pushed JCM800-style overdrive — all at any volume.

This amp represents the sound I’ve been chasing throughout my years of amp repair and collecting. It captures that elusive tonal balance while also offering the versatility to handle a wide range of musical settings. It’s not a one-trick pony — it excels in multiple roles.

The first Susquehanna is paired with a 2x12 cabinet, which has some minor cosmetic blemishes. I’m including the 2x12 at no additional cost with the purchase of this amp.

My buddy came visit for two days this week. We talked gear and repairs and gave each other advice about repairs.

It’s great fun being a part of a community like this social media guitar and amp repair community.

We talked about how the old world would hide trade secrets. And we discussed how sharing, brings everyone up. I think we have and Frank Ford for starting the gross amount of sharing. Frets.net and for facilitating that sharing.

Now that spirit continues through groups like and people Like Rob Hull, Bruce egnator, Rob Robinette

It’s these groups and these people that I have to thank for facilitating relationships and bringing people like boots from the UK to my door step.
