Don’t forget about the Chalk Festival this weekend!! Whimsy’s will be open, so add us to your walk-about!

Friday we open at 9am, and at 5:30pm we’ll be making beautiful sun catchers with Joy.

Saturday we’ll open at 9am, and at 3pm we’ll kick off our Beginner Knitting Class.

Here’s what’s happening at Whimsy’s this week..

☀️ Friday May 29th from 5:30pm-7:30pm come learn Joy’s technique in creating her beautiful handmade sun catchers! The cost for this class is $30 for adults and $25 for kids 12 & under

🧶 Saturday May 30th join us for our beginner knitting class. Have you ever wanted to learn knitting but felt intimidated? Or tried to learn from an online video and gotten confused? This class is for you! Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and more! This class comes with everything you need to get started. We will focus on making a small project in class and you will get enough yarn for a bigger project to take home and practice what you learned!

A little reminder for everyone signed up for this week’s classes at Whimsy’s!

Friday’s Zentangle class begins at 5:30pm, and Saturday’s Crochet 102 class begins at 3pm. We’re looking forward to creating with y’all and can’t wait to see everyone there!

🖼️ Friday May 22nd from 5:30pm-7:30pm come join us and learn how to draw like an artist using the art of Zentangle. Learn how to turn your doodles into fancy art with Lisa Shea! The cost of this class is $35.

🧶 Saturday May 23rd from 3pm-5pm come join us for Crochet 102 where we will go into crocheting in the round and intermediate stitches, you will create a small in class project and take home a bigger project to practice what you’ve learned. The cost for the class is $20 and that includes the yarn, pattern(s) and a keychain for the in class project, plus the class itself. Students will either need to bring their own hook (same hook as in Crochet 101, 5mm size) and whatever other accessories you like to use, or you can purchase a beginner kit at the boutique, which is priced at $5.
