Closed 12–4 PM Today for a Private Event

This afternoon, we're honored to host a retirement celebration for two beloved local educators.

A great teacher leaves an impact that extends far beyond the classroom, and today we're celebrating two individuals who have dedicated their careers to investing in the people and future of our community.

To both retirees: congratulations on a well-earned retirement. We wish you health, happiness, adventure, and all the joy that comes with this next chapter.

We'll reopen to the public after PM and look forward to welcoming you in this evening. 🥂

Some places put up a sign.

We hid a cocktail bar behind a bookcase.

Tonight, the lights are low, the music is on, and the drinks are exactly where they should be.

No passwords. No pretension.

Just good cocktails, good conversation, and a place that feels a little removed from the rest of the world.

Doors open at 4PM.

NEW RELEASE ALERT!🩵💙
Harbor Echoes, Book 2 in the Stillwater Inn series, is out today! The heirs are settling in… and the secrets are just beginning to surface. Available in ebook, paperback, and Kindle Unlimited.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GSL7T7XV
If you’ve been waiting to start the series, now is the perfect time — dive in and see why readers can’t put it down!

Bryn Gallagher is good at showing up for everyone except the people who need her most.
Her mother believed Bryn could lead five fractured strangers through a year-long restoration. Her own children won't return her calls. And the inn — decaying, stubborn, full of other people's ghosts — is the easiest problem she's facing.

When something hidden inside the walls points to a woman who vanished in 1962, the mystery becomes the unexpected thread stitching six reluctant strangers into something that looks almost like family. Almost.

Solving someone else's past is one thing. Facing her own guilt is another entirely.
Some things can be rebuilt. Some damage asks for something harder — and Bryn is running out of excuses not to try.

Midweek plans have officially improved.

Next Wednesday, June 3 at 6PM, we’re welcoming Virginia Distilling Company into the speakeasy for an evening of guided pours, signature cocktails, curated bites, and whiskey worth slowing down for.

Guest speaker Haakon will be leading the tasting through roughly five expressions — from approachable pours to bottles with a little more depth and edge.

Less “lecture.”
More hidden whiskey room energy.

Whether you’re deep into whiskey or just looking for an excuse to disappear behind the bookcase on a Wednesday night, this one’s shaping up beautifully.

RSVP now — this is one you’ll want a seat for.

What a great day yesterday was. Not only were we finishing up our Memorial Day vacation but I also had the distinct honor of meeting with Senator Jacky Rosen from our beautiful Sate of Nevada. She was at The Churchill Arts Council building to discuss Tourism growth within our wonderful town with Mayor Tedford, Chief of Staff, Bob Erickson, Jane Moon, Director of Fallon Tourism and Special Events, Robyn Jordan, Director of the Churchill Arts Council, City Councilwoman, Kelly Frost, Jesse Segura, Business owner and Deputy Director of Community Activities at the Rafter 3C Arena, and Mel Glover, Director of the Churchill County Museum. A very Special Thank You to Jane Moon, for inviting me to be a part of this. It was a true honor.

This Memorial Day, we’re reminded that small towns are built on service, sacrifice, and community.

To those who have served, those currently serving, and the families who carry that commitment alongside them—thank you. Your dedication has helped preserve the freedoms that allow places like ours to exist: gathering spaces where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and community continues to grow.

We’re especially grateful to call Fallon home—a town shaped by hardworking families, service members, veterans, and neighbors who continually show up for one another.

As we take a moment to reflect, we also want to thank each of you for supporting Cranberry Cottage and C&C Social Club. Whether you’ve shopped local, joined us for a cocktail, attended an event, or simply shared kind words, you’ve helped create something special within these walls.

We’ll be taking a short pause and will remain closed through Tuesday. Both Cranberry Cottage and C&C Social Club will reopen Wednesday.

Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful Memorial Day.

Looking for plans tonight?

Start with dinner at Fajitas Gourmet, then make your way behind the bookcase for cocktails and live music from Hank starting at 8PM.

While much of downtown is taking a breather this weekend, the lights are still on at C&C Social Club for one last night before we close until Wednesday at 4PM.

Good food. Great music. Strong drinks. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

See you tonight.

Not every night needs a plan.

Some nights need a hidden door.
A well-made drink.
Good music.
And one more round than you intended.
