CA Penal Code 25200 stipulates that all fi****ms not under immediate control need to be unloaded and locked, to prevent access by children or prohibited possessors gain access is guilty and punishable up to 1yr in jail and up to $1000 fine.

If you have a CCW permit you cannot leave your firearm in your vehicle. It must be unloaded and in a locked container that is attached to your vehicle. Glove compartments and center consoles are not lockable containers and does not satisfy the requirements.

We have DOJ approved lockable boxes at the shop and can help answer any questions you may have.
