*ANOTHER VERY LONG TERM RESIDENT WITH ZERO INTEREST: MAYLEE!* She has been waiting 15 MONTHS for a forever home. We were devastated when Maylee had to spend her 2nd birthday at the rescue. PLEASE HELP US FIND HER A FAMILY BY SHARING! She is looking for an experienced, dog savvy, and adult foster or forever home. She has been waiting MONTHS for someone to give her a chance. Please note: Maylee requires an appointment to meet her. Please email [email protected] to apply and request an appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Maylee is a 2 year old, female, mixed breed. She is a smart, quirky, fun loving, high energy girl looking for humans that will give her a minute to settle in and trust them. She is looking for a home without cats. She can be dog selective so our team would ideally have potential adopters come in for a few times for scheduled meet and greets to ensure a perfect fit. She is guarded at first but if you give her the time and space to get to know you, she will light up your world. She knows many commands, loves to play fetch, and walks nicely on a leash (after the initial excitement of going out of her kennel). She has so much love to give and we promised her that we wouldn’t ever give up until she finds the forever home she deserves. She is up to date on vaccinations. Bishop Alan Gates will dedicate the new Little Library in St. Luke's Churchyard when he visits the parish on Sunday June 11, 2023. The Little Library was painted and illustrated by St. Luke's resident artist, Carolyn Hall. All are invited to take a book from the Little Library free of charge. St. Luke's is especially eager to encourage children to enjoy reading.
