🚗It was a great time traveling down to the small town of Paxton Illinois for a wholesale buying trip! It happened to be their first quarter open house which means all wholesale booths are filled to the brim. It also means lots of shoppers! I prefer to shop when it’s nice and quiet, but everything went really smooth. There were only a few things I wasn’t able get because they found their way into other carts!😆 As soon as we arrived I grabbed a cart and ran straight to my Black Crow candles. God was so good, He protected my time with not one other person needing to shop it too.♥️ I was able to take my sweet time going over my shopping list to make sure I didn’t miss a thing!
Over the years that I’ve gone down to Paxton, it has always been beautiful and sunny. Not this time! We knew the weather was going to be bad while shopping on Monday. It poured, it rumbled and lit up the sky. There were even tornado warnings, all while we shopped in peace!😆 Driving through Lake Dalton coming home however was not as good to us. We drove on the edge of their storm so flash flooding across the interstate was so bad I couldn’t see a thing except to focus on semi tail lights to navigate the road. I’m happy to report that I’m back home safely and my car smells amazing!!
A humongous thank you to Amy from Reimagine for saying yes to traveling with me, helping navigate our way not only through traffic, but through a nasty storm! We had wonderful hours of conversation, some to the point of laughing so hard I could hardly see to drive! 😂
Thank you Paxton~See you again in August!
