SILVER PRICE EDITORIAL:
I have learned about backwardization. When futures are greater than spot price, that means that silver is being controlled by people that don't have the metal. They have paper. They can manipulate the market. With spot prices being higher than futures, the supply and demand controls the market. Silver reached $50 an oz in 1980. That was 46 years ago and gold was only around $800. Today silver is over $50 and gold is over $4200. Silver at $50 today is a psychological thing. It's 12% of what it was in relation to gold in 1980. Some people feel silver is heading to $100. Keep this in mind. If you have the metal, you have the power. The people trading paper were trading something they never had. If you don't need the money don't sell now. There is a silver shortage and they rely on scrap to fill their needs. If people quit supplying scrap once the backlog is dealt with they are going to be screaming for metal. We are in a new era where silver prices can't be suppressed.
Remember that when price is going up someone is buying. This is just an opinion.
