Pettee Ranch LLC We are a family owned ranch residing in Fairplay, Colorado. We take pride in raising healthy, happy yak.

The Yak Shack farm store open the second weekend of every month Friday-Sunday 10am-4pm; selling meat cuts by the lb and yak fiber clothing. We are a small local ranch that raises North American (originated from Tibet) Yak for all purposes including; fiber, meat, breeding stock, and beast of burden. We pride ourselves on being good stewards of the land, using grazing dynamics to aid in the health and function of the ranch as a whole, creating healthy happy yak.

1 lb ground yak, 1 pack yak jalapeño cheddar summer sausage, 1 pack Yak regular polish sausage, 2 pack (4 steaks) yak t-bone, 1lb yak breakfast sausage $100

Amish Country microwave popcorn; kettle, butter, cheddar, and purple whole cob $1.50-$4.50

Farmers market local products:

Elderberry syrup kits; just in time for cold and flu season to start. Makes 32-64oz per pack. Seal in air tight jar and refrigerate. Adults take 1 tbsp per day, children 1 tsp per day. $25

Takoda's Goats- goat milk products: assortment of soap bars, lip balms, beard balms, and lotions. $3-$14.

Chicken eggs by the dozen. Farm fresh, free range. $6.

Koozies and stickers $4-$6

Other items available- yak fiber blankets, sweaters, beanies, wraps, socks, skeins and more!

Momma yaks can be incredibly protective after they calve, even ones that are normally very gentle. I prefer them to have some protective instinct when calving out in the pastures with lots of predators present. This gal is particularly aggressive after calving 😉
