Things from the Basement, LLC Dollhouse & Wargaming Miniatures I design and manufacture laser-cut HDF (High Density Fiberboard) kits for 28mm, 15mm and 20mm figures.

Things from the Basement, LLC is my online store located in Fairfield, CT for dollhouse and wargaming miniatures, with the focus being on wargaming. All kits are highly detailed, yet easy to assemble. Buildings open up for easy access during gaming. Most kits are made of a variety of materials like HDF, chipboard, paper and whatever else is needed to create realistic and functioning models for you

r gaming table. My ranges cover several historical periods and geographical areas as well as Fantasy and Science Fiction. And in case you can’t find what you are looking for: time allowing I also do custom projects! In addition to that you will find complementary products from different companies. Mostly from Europe and not always easy to find in the US like Gamer's Grass amd Stoessi's Heroes.

Medieval Town, our new 28mm range will be released at Historicon❗️
All kits are made of laser-cut MDF and cardboard and feature lots of details, removable upper floors and roofs, moveable doors and the typical jettied upper stories. With a diverse selection of narrow and wide gables, 2 and 3 stories, market and corner houses you have the creative freedom to bring your unique vision to life. Plus, 3 stand-alone additions (smithy, pottery, bakery) allow the buildings to be even more customized and help in creating a thriving town scene. And don't forget the church!

Almost five years ago, we released our best (?) kit in our Feudal Japan range yet: The Samurai Residence
A stunning centerpiece for your 28mm wargames! This 16" by 16" building complex features four separate buildings, all connected by walkways and platforms. All roof sections are removable to allow easy access to the interior of the houses. In addition all doors, including the sliding doors, open and close. The enclosure fence around the garden is also part of the kit. Lots of corners, building extensions and different exterior wall designs make it an interesting eye candy, no matter from what angle you look at it!
