Brown's will be accepting applications until we find the perfect fit for our store. We care about our customers, and we are looking for one or two individuals that share that same passion.

Meet the Browns Shoe Fit team!

It’s been a while since we’ve updated Facebook with our current staff, so I thought I would take a minute to share a bit about each of us!

Kristin (Full-time since November 2022)
Kristin is part of Browns Shoe Fit history! Some might say she “has it in her blood!” Kristin’s grandpa was the original owner of the Browns in Fairfield (Wayne Klepinger), back in 1935. After her grandpa retired, her dad (Barry Klepinger) took over the store and ran it till he retired! It’s so cool to have her back in Fairfield and continuing the tradition that her grandpa and dad started!

Lacey (Part-time since March)
Lacey just graduated high school and is planning on staying in the Fairfield area for the foreseeable future! Hopefully at Browns… 🤞🏼

Leia (Part-time since April)
Leia is in high school and loves to dance! She also volunteers at High Temperature Dance Academy with the little dancers!

Sophie (Part-time since May)
Sophie is attending school at Iowa State and is back home for the summer! In addition to selling shoes, she is also managing our page during the summer!

Kevin (Part-time since June 2022)
This will be Kevin’s second summer with us at Browns! Kevin just graduated high school and will be heading to college this fall!

Benjamin (Owner/Manager since April 2014)
Our family keeps growing! Megan and I have three kids (Thomas 4, Lydia 3, Eloise 1) and we are expecting baby number four in August! We are so thankful to have such a wonderful team at Browns. All of these people are like family and they truly are special to us!

I was able to take the morning off today to watch my kiddos while my wife ran to an appointment! They are growing up so fast! ❤️ Also, Lydia got some new glasses to help with an eye that wants to cross. They are all so cute!

Life update from Ben:

Yesterday we found out the gender of our baby that’s due in August! We are excited to announce that baby number four is a girl! Daddy needs to start saving now for some weddings! 😳😂
