Heaven gained another special man this past week. . . Mikey words alone cannot express the deep sadness that has touched us. . . 💔
For over four decades you have been a part of our West View family. Our memories with you are woven into our generations of tradition. Whether it was gathering buckets, splitting wood, setting up new pipeline systems, walking lines and tapping to helping in the sugarhouse, you were always there. . . . Wherever you were needed. . . . Always with a smile. (Unless you were hunting😉)
Mike, you will always hold a special place in our hearts here on West Street. We will miss your impeccable ability to always find lost items in the woods or a four leaf clover🍀, your quick wit, sense of humor and the wisdom that spoke through your stories. We will never forget the year you helped put up two pools in April for sap when we ran out of storage or our Christmas Eve tradition you started many years ago. We will continue this tradition with a raised glass and a maple pie or two for you. 🍁
You had a love, respect and appreciation for the land no matter the season; from sugaring to hunting and everything in between, you instilled this in all who crossed your path. “Mike’s hunting spot” will remind us of this for generations to come. We find comfort hoping you, Tim and Uncle Shaun are up there swapping hunting, fishing and sugaring stories and having one more cold one together.
To Mike’s Family, our deepest condolences and sympathy go out to you. He was a great man who gave so much of himself to others. As much as he loved the land, he loved and cared for the people around him, especially Christine, the boys and his grandchildren. His love and pride for you all showed every day. He will be missed beyond measure. ❤️
