Happy Sunday. I hope everyone has been well. I know I have been neglecting this page, and I apologize. I will try harder to keep you up to date on what has been happening in the world of Edit This One.
For right now, I wanted to share a review that I noticed on Amazon this morning. It is for Steven F Deslippe's first book in the Fate's End series - Inception.

I read the first book in the Fate's End Series and can't wait to see what happens in Book 2!

Steven F. Deslippe mixes intrigue, mystery, drama, and even a bit of humour to his writing style. The first book is very unpredictable and just when you think you have it all figured out, the story takes on new twists and turns. His characters, both good and evil, are well-developed with detailed backstories. I would highly recommend this novel, but with a warning. You better have time to sit and read, because, believe me, you won't want to put it down until the very end! The end makes you want to read more! I am placing my order for Book #2 Following the Path!

Thank you Andrea for this wonderful review. It is very important to leave reviews so authors know how well they have written their book and what people are looking for if changes need to be made.

The following is from Steven Deslippe's 5th book of the Fate's End series, Unspeakable. I am in the process of editing it and decided to share a little piece of his writing. I love the quote in this. Great job Steven. You can find this series on amazon.com. Please purchase the first 4 books so you are prepared when this one is published. Enjoy!

Sydney never had a desk or office of his own at the agency, nor had he ever been asked to become an official member of it, he just always showed up and offered his assistance whenever he could, as that is what family did. Vividly, he remembered what his brother had said to him, right after his teenage niece, Sharice, had called him worrying about her mother’s wellbeing. Just before he left the agency that day to go to England, Maxwell had said to him, “Family is a special fraternity that you don’t join, you just belong to. And as such, it is your responsibility to be there whenever and wherever you are needed without any questions being asked or any thanks expected in return.” Those words quickly became a conviction that both Sydney and Savanna had adopted, as back then their immediate family consisted of only just the three of them.

Hey there, looking for some help. This month I am going to create a new website for Edit This One. I was wondering if anyone had ideas that they would like to see on my website. Like my other one (still available until Oct. 2nd), it will be a personal site, not corporate looking. Please either reply to this post or PM me with what you would like to see. Looking forward to your ideas. Thank you!

Yesterday I met with an upcoming author that I have been working with for some time. We discussed what changes were made from the last time I did edits, as well as what she needed to add. It was such a successful meeting. I am anxious to see the final product and see how well it flies off the shelves into the hands of the readers.

The thing I like best about this business, is we chatted for about 1 hour on the book and then we chatted for 2 hours about what has been going on in our lives. I love that I am able to make this business PERSONAL instead of STUFFY CORPORATE.

Keep up the great work Sherri Hasley, you got this!

Happy Sunday, All. Every once in a while, I will post something regarding how important reviews are to an author, especially a new author. Well, I am usually all about others, this morning I decided to be about ME. If you have used my editing services or even know me well on a personal basis, please leave a review. This can help to grow my business as well as myself. I can learn what I need to do to help my clients rise to the top.

Hello fellow readers. If you are looking for an inspirational read that does not preach about religion, but at the same time, gives experiences and information regarding religion, then "A Call to Joy" is a must-read. Please see the great reviews from people who purchased and loved this book:

5.0 out of 5 stars CHAPTER 5: A MUST READ

No one can argue values, attitudes, and philosophies adjust, alter, and/or adapt over time between generations. Some generations honor traditional values taught from generation to generation. Some individuals, like the author, question and challenge traditional ideologies resulting, to some, a bizarre belief system. I felt more comfortable allowing myself to question religion after reading this book. The topics addressed forces the reader to re-evaluate traditional philosophies. The author defines the term “unconditional love” and the “higher power” who freely provides this love. No matter how different we are, or who we are, or what our beliefs are, we can all agree on one thing: Unconditional love is provided from above and needs to be practiced among us.
Thank you, Terry for writing this book! What took you so long?

Thank you to the author for this brilliant book. It contained the guidance I needed right when I needed it. For that reason I should thank the Holy Spirit for working through this medium! Such a blessing it was to read.

There are a few more reviews you can read on Amazon.

Thank you Terry for letting me be a part of your author journey by having me edit it for you. I am also thankful that you, Barb and I have become such great friends.
