Have you ever milked a cow? Neither have we, obviously...

We’re so grateful to AK Mountain View Family Farm, our local raw milk supplier, for inviting us out to tour their hillside farm and see where it all happens!

We got to meet lots of babies, learn more about their efforts to feed our community, milk a cow AND even milk a goat...and we didn’t even get too freaked out by it. 🐐😂

Getting to know the people and animals behind the food on our shelves is one of our favorite parts of what we do- it really puts the ‘community’ in ‘community supported agriculture’.

We’re raising money to help pay off student lunch debt for FNSB school district, so all our kids can stay nourished throughout the school year. We’ll match your donations up to $1,000! As of now, we’re only at $100, and we’d love to be able to match the full $1000.

One of Erica’s summertime favs is a fresh basil smash made with fresh local basil. You can jazz it up by adding some strawberry simple syrup from Full Moon, or a dash of a strawberry lemon shaker from Jams Jellies and Things!
