Am I having fun???? HELLS YEAH! All this in less than a week with lots of days to go! The weather forecast — blue skies every day … and HOT. But honestly without the humidity it’s no biggie. Plus the pool and hot tub doesn’t hurt!

was a fantastic LYS here in Scottsdale. If you’re ever here, Nicki is a must on your list! So friendly and GOBS of great yarns including some I’ve never heard of. Of course I bought yarn, bags, and needles (which I neglected to pack).

Brought three WIPS with me so plenty to do in the car and at the pool.

Saturday we check out and head south to Tucson to see the kids and work on my tan some more.

Oh, those birds are long tail grackles, according to my bird watching daughter . I took a video of them singing one evening in the flowering trees outside our condo which I will post later. SO beautiful!

Have a nice June everyone. I’m planning on basking in the Arizona sun and spending time with the kids❤️.

Took several knitting projects of course but my shoulder is sore so can’t knit as much as I’d like but I brought a couple of books too. Will let you know when I’m back.

First off, a new ballerina kit just out! The Kit includes the yarn, pattern, a Raggz magnet, a special stitch marker and a knitting sticker. A very easy top — great for beginners and road trip knitting because you don’t really have to think too much about it. It’s also reversible.

Two new yarns just arrived including Juniper Moon Farm Harris, which is a beautiful tweedy yarn featuring wool and silk. I’m knitting a sample up in this beautiful color way right now.

The next new yarn is also Juniper Moon Farm and it is called glimmer. it is a very sparkly yarn made out of cotton, nylon, polyester — also working on a sample for this. It’s beautiful to work with (and shimmery).

The last couple of pictures were just for fun as I was enjoying and the day with my kids.

Getting a bit of road trip knitting in today. Got my yarn and my adorable little Good Water travel sock project bag.

Started this sock right after I bought this yarn from Yarn Hero at Frederick but kept putting it on hold for other projects, like the Hitofude, Pressed Flowers cardigan and a sample I’m knitting for the shop with Mirasol. Happy to say two out the three are finished with the exception of the pressed flowers. But the body is almost complete then I’ll be working on the sleeves.

I try to keep a sock project handy for an impromptu car ride. I do love to knit!

Looking forward to a fun weekend here in Wooster although it’s cold! And of course I’m right next to a huge open door. Saw friends I haven’t seen in a while like Crista from , Joanna from , and Simona from recycled yarns. I’m next to a lady with an alpaca farm and across from a mill out of Michigan. Sam and Donna are in my building too! Gonna go early tomorrow to take a video and see what I can get into!
It’s gonna be fun!
