We need helping hands to make the 4th of July Festival a fun and memorable day for our community.

Volunteer opportunities include helping with games, the pie-eating contest, watermelon-eating contest, dunk tank, vendor assistance, and more. A variety of shifts are available, making it easy to find a role that fits your schedule.

Please sign up only if you are confident you can commit to your shift, as we rely on our volunteers to help the event run smoothly. If your plans change, let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your spot.

Can't help with this event? We have volunteer opportunities throughout the year, and we'd love to have you join us in the future. Feel free to share this opportunity with friends and family who may be interested.

The Old Town Gazebo is officially PROM READY!

Before the big dance, gather your friends and head to Old Town for prom photos surrounded by beautiful hanging baskets and cheerful spring decorations at the Gazebo. It’s the perfect backdrop for group shots, candid moments, and memories you’ll keep forever.

This special display is made possible through an amazing community collaboration:
- The Eureka Sequoia Garden Club plants the hanging baskets
- City of Eureka staff care for the flowers and help hang the baskets
- Volunteers from the Eureka Rescue Mission assist with installation
- Old Town Steward volunteers water and maintain the plants throughout the season
- Eureka Main Street coordinates the project and added extra spring decorations this year to brighten the space for everyone to enjoy

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and organizations who help make Old Town beautiful!

Be sure to tag us in your prom photos!

Up before sunrise and full of Eureka pride!

Some of our Eureka Main Street board members started the day extra early to represent our community from the Redwood Sky Walk, and you could spot us on Good Morning America!

Thank you to the early risers who helped share the energy, beauty, and heart of our city with a national audience. We love Eureka, and it shows.
