Weekly roundup!
Ok, last week was nuts šIf you have children, are you ok??? Because the May/June hustle is REAL, and my kids can drive themselves places! We have been so busy!!!
On the farm, we are at that exciting phase where all the super early summer crops are just starting to bloom. It feels like every day I see a new flower start to open up. Itās so fun!! We harvested one billion blooms, sent flowers all over our local area AND to Central Oregon, ripped out all kinds of old crops to make way for new ones, and planted the dahlia field (WHEW!)
Last week was also the Oregon State track meet, so the last half of the week was spent at Hayward Field, cheering everyone on. After those two days of craziness, Titus left for a backpacking trip in the Steens Mountains, and Brett, Moses, and I geared up for Camp Agape (which is a summer camp for kids who have a parent who is incarcerated). The guys spent three days at camp, and I pulled one big day there teaching flower arranging classes to around 100 teenagers. It was awesome! But also, we are tired! š¤ŖTitus is still backpacking, but Brett, Moses, and I went out to dinner last night and then all collapsed into bed before 10 last night.
And itās a new week (happy Monday!!) Today we will be packing and shipping dahlia tuber orders (did I mention I decided to do a last-minute tuber sale? You can still get tubers on our website!) and delivering florist orders. I am MAJORLY looking forward to a week where I can hopefully eat dinner before 9:30 at night (though summer league basketball starts this week, so who knowsā¦). Itās going to be a beautiful week - WEāVE GOT THIS!! šš»
