is an American company that has been designing and manufacturing optical instrument covers for almost 20 years. ScopeSheild’s success is built on our commitment to absolute customer satisfaction, and our commitment to building the best product possible for sportsmen, and military and law enforcement communities. ScopeShield was invented by Jon Stram of Anchorage, Alaska. As an avid hunter, Jon rea
lized that he needed something better than what was currently on the market to protect his scope both in the field and in storage. In 1995, Jon realized the need for a scope protector and he experimented with different forms of covers. Soon enough, he came up with a sufficient design of his own that was waterproof and durable. Jon realized the scope needed to be protected at all times, right up to the moment the shot is taken. This need led him to develop the finger loop that can simply be pulled back and allows the ScopeShield to “slingshot” forward off the scope. The "Keeper Loop" that goes around the barrel then lets the ScopeShield stay attached to the gun, even after the cover is removed from the scope and the shot is taken. Jon started getting several requests from fellow hunting partners and outfitters for this new device, which led him to start ScopeShield. He started manufacturing and selling ScopeShield in and around Oregon and eventually up into Alaska. Today, high demand for the superior quality of ScopeShield has spread across the world. Now with two manufacturing centers, customers can order a ScopeShield in different sizes, colors and with custom prints. ScopeShields are also available for outfitting large groups such as military, hunting tours, and law enforcement. Companies & organizations can order ScopeShields with their logos or emblems. Whether you’re an avid hunter, an outfitter, or service member, ScopeShield provides the necessary protection and ease of use for anyone wanting to protect their scope.
