Unique one of a kind handmade accessories, home décor, art and jewelry are my business. Thinking outside the box became the norm.

I grew up in a home where using your imagination was appreciated and where it was necessary to make everyday things work in more than one way. I come from a large family and all of us have a wide creative streak, living with people like that you cannot help but end up wanting to create. My Dad was always creating whether he was making beer and Irish velvet in our hallway cupboard or painting mural

s in our garage, building barbecue areas out of flagstone or fishponds with waterfalls in the front yard, there was always something to be done or to be changed and made better and I loved being part of it. Then there was my Mom who in another age I am sure would have been a great author she wove such magic when she told a story so much so that you didn't know when the reality ended and the fiction began you just became part of the story. While growing up other adults always referred to me as being rather unique, perhaps the adults polite way of say "she's a little weird", and my Dad called me Nique so UniqueNique became my creative outlet.

Please everyone get your information from actual organizations on the ground in the hurricane affected areas spreading rumors, lies, propaganda 🙄 whatever you want to call it only hurts both those that are helping and those that need help. Also please if you can help then make sure you are contributing to legitimate organizations with good track records in these situations.

Help keep yourself, your family and your community safe after Hurricane Helene by being aware of rumors and scams and sharing official information from trusted sources.

I just realized I didn't update on my latest little critters and they've already been adopted so here they are. The snail and flamingo have settled in, in Maine and the snail and chameleon are well settled in Canada 🙂
