Trivia Tuesday: What 42-mile cross country ski race began in Oregon in 1927?

The Fort Klamath to Crater Lake Ski Race was first skied on February 22, 1927. There were 32 skiers who participated in the race which went from Fort Klamath along the Crater Lake Highway to the Crater Lake National Park Headquarters and back. After this the event expanded and became the Klamath County Winter Carnival and continued until 1938.
