Our summer is heating up! Smallies, musky, brookies, and don't forget our state bird... the mosquito. We're booking up fast! Sorry about not keeping up with our social media. Chasing fish and watching clients have fun is more important.

Our steelhead season was shorter due to the high runoff. But, we managed to hammer them in the 3rd period. While other folks were catching "prespawn" smallies off their redds and spawning areas, we are prepping for actual smallie fishing. This summer is shaping up nicely. Musky are already moving to their summer ambush points. Let's get it!

2025 was a magical year. We landed so many "firsts" in musky on the fly. Countless smallies. Trophy smallies. Firsts for steelhead and so on. I am grateful for every trip, every phone call, every email, every text, and every random conversation/moment/interaction in our small but wide world of fly fishing.

Bringing my sister to my home waters in the middle of nowhere was pure magic. Seeing her catching brookies in the same runs my family has since the 1800s means so much to me. Thanks to her and thanks to all of you out there! Looking forward to more adventures in 2026!

Well, that was unexpected. In the cold and snow flurries, we landed this king. It was a slower day, overall. But we did have a good number of hookups. Carsten lost a MONSTER of a king around 42" long. It was the biggest king we've seen in about 8 years. Nice work!

What a weekend. Congrats to Joshua! This guy absolutely crushed some salmon this weekend! 8 fish in the bag, including a female chinook taped at 38". That was the second-largest hen we have ever landed. Another amazing day fly fishing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

As much as I hate seeing summer end, we all know what's coming! Goliath brown trout, salmon, steelhead, and even more musky fly fishing! It's not too late to get some open dates! Join us as we're continually spoiled, here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

Day two with and of . Musky Madness! I can't get over that we moved 13 fish (one was over 45"), and we bagged TWO MUSKY about 15 minutes apart! Jeremy landed his first U.P. musky on the fly! THEN! Megan landed her first-ever musky on the fly! So proud of you both! We braved some horrible winds to make it happen!

Day one with and of . It was a total brookie beatdown! Megan and Jeremy landed a lot of incredibly spectacularly colored, native brook trout. This was an exceptional day in a truly magical place!
