Now this is often called the "Golden Rule," as God's
Children we are to obey this rule. For written in the law is; DO NOT
SEEK REVENGE OR BEAR A GRUDGE AGAINST ANYONE
AMONG YOUR PEOPLE, BUT LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
AS YOURSELF. ( LEVITICUS 19:18 )

Also Jesus Christ said; "A NEW COMMAND I GIVE YOU:
LOVE ONE ANOTHER. AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, SO YOU
MUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BY THIS EVERYONE WILL
KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU LOVE
ONE ANOTHER." ( JOHN 13:34-35 )

Thus the "Golden Rule" that Jesus taught us is the
foundation of goodness and mercy, the kind of love that
God shows to us each day! So BEAR WITH EACH OTHER
AND FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER IF ANY OF YOU HAS A
GRIEVANCE AGAINST SOMEONE. FORGIVE AS THE
LORD FORGAVE YOU. Amen. ( COLOSSIANS 3:13 )

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW, FOR TOMORROW
WILL WORRY ABOUT ITSELF. EACH DAY HAS ENOUGH
TROUBLE OF ITS OWN.
( MATTHEW 6:34 *NIV )

Now I ask you, CAN ANY ONE OF YOU BY WORRYING ADD
A SINGLE HOUR TO YOUR LIFE? ( MATTHEW 6:27 )
In fact, some studies even show that worry may actually
shorten our life!

Therefore instead of worrying; CAST ALL YOUR ANXIETY ON
HIM BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU. ( 1 PETER 5:7 )
And then; WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE AFRAID;
WHEN YOU LIE DOWN YOUR SLEEP WILL BE SWEET.
( PROVERBS 3:24 )

After all what is worry anyway, but the opposite of faith!
So have faith and always turn your worries over to
God! Then you will be able to say with confidence:

"Why Worry About Tomorrow?"

Why worry about tomorrow
And the rising of the sun,
Of anguish over past mistakes
That cannot be undone?

Why waste life's precious moments
On things that bruise the heart
When today is ours to fashion
Into a work of art?

Today comes but once, my friend,
It never can return--
So use it wisely while you can,
There's a lesson you may learn.

Let history record the past
And tomorrow come what may.
Be content to do your best
With what you have today!

BUT TO EACH ONE OF US GRACE WAS GIVEN ACCORDING
TO THE MEASURE OF CHRIST'S GIFT.
( EPHESIANS 4:7 *NKJV )

We have all heard the Hymn "Amazing Grace," but did
you ever wonder what the word "grace" meant in the Bible?
Well "grace" in the New Testament is the Greek word
[charis] which means underserved acceptance or favor,
as well as, love received from another.

Now let us look at the Grace of God and what it means
to each one of us. It is written; FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE
BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH, AND THAT NOT OF
YOURSELVES; IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD.
( EPHESIANS 2:8 )

Also the same Grace protects us, comforts us, and
guides us as well, so; LET US THEREFORE COME BOLDLY
TO THE THRONE OF GRACE, THAT WE MAY OBTAIN
MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED.
( HEBREWS 4:16 )

Further, God's Great Love comes to us through His;
Grace; AND WE HAVE KNOWN AND BELIEVED THE
LOVE THAT GOD HAS FOR US. GOD IS LOVE, AND
HE WHO ABIDES IN LOVE ABIDES IN GOD, AND GOD
IN HIM. For after all; WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST
LOVED US. ( 1 JOHN 4:16 & 19 )

So in closing, my prayer for you is to; GROW IN THE
GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND
SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. TO HIM BE THE GLORY
BOTH NOW AND FOREVER. AMEN.

THEN JESUS SAID TO HIS DISCIPLES, "WHOEVER WANTS
TO BE MY DISCIPLE, MUST DENY THEMSELVES AND TAKE
UP THEIR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME."
( MATTHEW 16:24 *NIV )

We all have crosses to bear in this life, and when your "Cross"
seems to heavy to bear, remember that God is there to help you
carry it. After all God has said, "NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU; NEVER
WILL I FORSAKE YOU." ( HEBREWS 13:5 )

So put your faith in God, and remember what Jesus said, "DO NOT LET
YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED. YOU BELIEVE IN GOD;
BELIEVE ALSO IN ME. ( JOHN 14:1 ) Then let the
wings of faith uphold you, uphold you indeed!

May the wings of faith uphold you
When your cross is hard to bear,
As temptations surround you,
And no one seems to care.
May the wings of faith surround you
And shield you from the pain
When sorrows overcome you
And teardrops fall like rain.
May you know that God is with you
In times of deep despair.
May the spirit, who's within you,
Confirm that He is there!
May the valley of the shadow
Provide angels unaware...
May the wings of faith uphold you
When your cross is hard to bear.

�BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD, WHOSE
CONFIDENCE IS IN HIM. THEY WILL BE LIKE A TREE
PLANTED BY THE WATER THAT SENDS OUT ITS ROOTS BY
THE STREAM. IT DOES NOT FEAR WHEN HEAT COMES; ITS
LEAVES ARE ALWAYS GREEN. IT HAS NO WORRIES IN A
YEAR OF DROUGHT AND NEVER FAILS TO BEAR FRUIT.�
( JEREMIAH 17:7-8 *NIV )

Now it is written, WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO
PLEASE GOD, BECAUSE ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM
MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS AND THAT HE REWARDS
THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM. ( HEBREWS 11:6 )

Now when you think about it, life would be very difficult
without our faith! King David wrote, THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH
AND MY SHIELD; MY HEART TRUSTS IN HIM, AND HE
HELPS ME. MY HEART LEAPS FOR JOY, AND WITH MY
SONG I PRAISE HIM. ( PSALM 28:7 ) Therefore; HOW
PRICELESS IS YOUR UNFAILING LOVE, O'GOD! PEOPLE
TAKE REFUGE IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS.
( PSALM 36:7 )

So remember that; WE LIVE BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT.
( 2 CORINTHIANS 5:7 ) For those who do it is written, YOU WILL
KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED
ON YOU, BECAUSE HE TRUSTS IN YOU.
Therefore; TRUST IN THE LORD FOREVER, FOR THE LORD,
THE LORD HIMSELF IS THE ROCK ETERNAL. Amen.
( ISAIAH 26:3-4 )

ARISE, SHINE; FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME! AND THE
GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU. FOR BEHOLD,
THE DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH, AND DEEP
DARKNESS THE PEOPLE; BUT THE LORD WILL ARISE
OVER YOU, AND HIS GLORY WILL BE SEEN UPON YOU.
( ISAIAH 60:1-2 *NKJV )

Think spiritually here, for the "light" is the magnificent
Glory of our Heavenly Father! Now THIS IS THE MESSAGE
WHICH WE HAVE HEARD FROM HIM AND DECLARE TO
YOU, THAT GOD IS LIGHT AND IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS
AT ALL. ( 1 JOHN 1:5 ) Thus as His children we
are reflectors of His magnificent "light."

Our Savior Jesus Christ said, "YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE
WORLD. A CITY THAT IS SET ON A HILL CANNOT BE
HIDDEN. NOR DO THEY LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT
UNDER A BASKET, BUT ON A LAMPSTAND, AND IT
GIVES LIGHT TO ALL WHO ARE IN THE HOUSE. LET
YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY
SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER
IN HEAVEN." ( MATTHEW 5:14-16 )

So LET US WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD.
( ISAIAH 2:5 ) After all IF WE WALK IN THELIGHT AS HE IS IN
THE LIGHT, WE HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER,
AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSES
US FROM ALL SIN. ( 1 JOHN 1:7 )

Now in closing; MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE FELLOWSHIP
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU. Amen.
( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )

ENTER THROUGH THE NARROW GATE. FOR WIDE IS THE GATE
AND BROAD IS THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION, AND
MANY ENTER THROUGH IT. BUT SMALL IS THE GATE AND
NARROW THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO LIFE, AND ONLY A FEW
FIND IT.
( MATTHEW 7:13-14 *NIV )

The road and gate that lead to Eternal life are narrow
indeed. However that doesn't mean that being a Christian
is difficult, but it does mean that we must do our best to
live a righteous life and believe in our Savior Jesus Christ
as well! For, O LORD, YOU BLESS THE RIGHTEOUS; YOU
SURROUND THEM WITH YOUR FAVOR AS WITH A SHIELD.
( PSALM 5:12 )

Further Jesus' is quoted in the Book of JOHN as saying; "I AM THE
GATE; WHOEVER ENTERS THROUGH ME WILL BE SAVED.
THEY WILL COME IN AND GO OUT AND FIND PASTURE."
( JOHN 10:9 )

Therefore isn't it wonderful to know this life isn't all there
is, and that we may look forward to meeting our Beloved
Savoir Jesus Christ at that gate someday! Further, that we
will DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER!
( PSALM 23:6 ) For NO EYE HAS SEEN, WHAT NO EAR HAS
HEARD, AND WHAT NO HUMAN MIND HAS CONCEIVED�
THE THINGS GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE
HIM. ( CORINTHIANS 2:9 )

So PRAISE THE LORD, MY SOUL, AND FORGET
NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS--WHO FORGIVES ALL OUR SINS
AND HEALS ALL OUR DISEASES, WHO REDEEMS YOUR
LIFE FROM THE PIT AND CROWNS YOU WITH LOVE AND
COMPASSION. Amen ( PSALM 103:2-4 )

FOR I DO NOT DO THE GOOD I WANT TO DO, BUT THE
EVIL I DO NOT WANT TO DO--THIS I KEEP ON DOING.
WHAT A WRETCHED MAN I AM! WHO WILL RESCUE ME
FROM THIS BODY THAT IS SUBJECT TO DEATH?
( ROMANS 7:19 & 24 *NIV )


Those are the words of the Apostle Paul, to remain
sinless was a struggle for him, as well as the rest of the
Apostle's. For sin has always been a struggle for mankind
since Adam and Eve!

Therefore when we slip and sin it is very important to ask
our Heavenly Father to forgive us. For it is written: IF WE CONFESS
OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL
FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL
UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. ( 1 JOHN 1:9 ) Thus we
become cleansed and forgiven from past sins, and that
includes all of them!

After all it is also written: "COME NOW, AND LET US REASON
TOGETHER," SAYS THE LORD. "THOUGH YOUR SINS ARE
LIKE SCARLET, THEY SHALL BE AS WHITE AS SNOW;
THOUGH THEY ARE RED LIKE CRIMSON, THEY SHALL BE
LIKE WOOL." ( ISAIAH 1:18 )

Now when we repent God's forgiveness is complete,
for He has even promised us that He won't remember
them anymore. He has said: "I WILL FORGIVE THEIR
WICKEDNESS AND WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO
MORE." ( HEBREWS 8:12 )

So just be the very best person that you can be,
and if you slip and sin once in a while, do not think that
God doesn't love you anymore. For no one is perfect,
however once there was one, sinless and blameless,
and filled with love, and they Crucified Him. Amen.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW AND GENTILE--THE
SAME LORD IS LORD OF ALL AND RICHLY BLESSES ALL WHO
CALL ON HIM.
( ROMANS 10:12 *NIV )

When we are feeling low and depressed there is no better
way to cheer ourselves up, than to count our many blessings.

After all; KNOW THEREFORE THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD
IS GOD; HE IS THE FAITHFUL GOD, KEEPING HIS COVENANT
OF LOVE TO A THOUSAND GENERATIONS OF THOSE WHO
LOVE HIM AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.
( DEUTERONOMY 7:9 ) Therefore HE WILL LOVE YOU AND BLESS
YOU! ( DEUTERONOMY 7:13 )

So when you find yourself feeling blue, always
concentrate on your blessings and you will find yourself thinking,
"Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord," and that will chase those
blues away! For indeed.....

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord,
To count them one-by-one
Would take much longer than the day
That has just now begun!

You fill each day with miracles
From dawn to setting sun.
Each night you hear a million prayers
When day's work is done.

You keep the old World spinning
As seasons come and go,
And each one is a masterpiece
That sets our hearts aglow.

You fill the Earth with beauty, Lord,
With flowers, shrubs and trees,
And butterflies and bees.

Your Words still give us comfort
For Your promises are true.
Your blessings are so many, Lord,
In everything we do!
