Ok, That's all, folks! I posted pictures of each and every RSD title that I'll have for the National Record Store Day event (tomorrow) Saturday, April 18th, starting at 9am! You can scroll through all of my posts (on Facebook and Instagram) that I've made since Wednesday. If you don't see it, I didn't get it. As usual, there may be a few (non-RSD) surprises in stock... but you'll just have to come in to find out what. Remember, it's all first come, first served, while supplies last.

As I eluded to in my video from earlier this week, I got short changed (on the quantities) on a few of the things that I ordered and there were some things that were either cancelled... or there just wasn't enough supplies for ALL of the independent retailers to get a share.

The following were cancelled:

-Pearl Jam
-Bruce Springsteen (CD set)

I ordered the following, but did not receive any of these (it happens)...

-King Gizzard
-Mark Lanegan
-S*x Pistols

Those seven RSD releases will NOT be here. So, if that's what you were hoping for, I just spared you the time. Of course, this does not mean that I got "everything else" on RSD's list. I just mentioned those titles in particular because, when I asked you all to submit your RSD wish/requests (back in February) those titles were requested by some of you.

Well, I still have some prep work to do in the shop, so I'm signing off for the night. I'll probably see many of you in the morning.... doors open at 9am.

Formed in Leeds in the UK by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, The Sisters Of Mercy released their first full-length album First And Last And Always in March 1985. The culmination of five years of independent releases, whilst building up a large cult following, their debut album reached Number 14 the UK charts, by which time the band also featured Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass, both of whom would later leave the band to form The Mission. Originally signing to Warner Music in 1984, First And Last And Always was the only album from this highly influential line-up. The album was released in Japan in July 1985, and features different versions of four tracks.
Although this unique mix was used for the first CD edition in 1988, this new LP will be the first time that this mix will be available on vinyl outside of Japan. It will also be remastered from a new transfer of the original Japan production master.
