At present, Werner Books is accepting good condition paperbacks and recent fiction or nonfiction hardbacks. If you have more than a couple bags of books to bring in, please call ahead. We generally do not accept ex-library books, hardbacks without their dust cover, books that are dated (such as older health books and textbooks,) and books in poor condition. Please do not bring us books that are di
rty from garage/basement storage or have strong odors or mold. Our special computer program keeps track of your credit so there are no slips to lose.
*Paperback Exchange Policy
Credit will be given in the amount of 25% of the list price of the book. Unused credit may not be turned in for cash.

*Purchasing with Credit Policy
You may use your credit toward 50% of the total purchase on used books and 15% of new books. (New books by local authors are not included and are priced by the author.) Remaining credit may be applied to your next purchase, and remains in our database.

You will still be able to purchase books at the coffee shop counter before the bookstore hours begin. However, if you have book trade-ins, those must be made during the bookstore hours. You will be able to leave books at the bookstore check-in desk with your name and phone number and the bookstore staff will process them when they arrive. Purchases made at the coffee shop with your store account will accrue towards your $10 off. However, store credit cannot be used towards coffee shop items. The coffee shop will be open during the week the following hours:
Mondays and Wednesdays- 7:30am-8pm
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays- 7:30am-3pm
Saturdays- 9am-5pm
Sundays- 10am-4pm
The bookstore hours during the week will be:
Mondays and Wednesdays- 9am-8pm
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays- 9am-6pm
Saturdays- 9am-5pm
Sundays- 10am-4pm
